1998 Z3 M Roadster, 5 sp manual
Showing 82,000 miles
15,322 worldwide production between 1997 to 2002
Looking for an M Coupe, we found this car in Colorado and it was too cool (and too good a deal) to pass up. We found out why – great cosmetically and a lot of usual work had been done, but needed a head gasket and other serious repair. With a completely rebuilt engine and mechanicals now, it’s Scott’s favorite driver. Yes, we replaced all the underbody bushings to strengthen the rear end - no popped trunk rivets or differential mount ear tearing before, and this will handle future “enthusiastic driving” without worry. Also fixed the seat slide syndrome, the shifter detent, just every single thing this model wants to have done to really enjoy to the fullest. Like a new car now. Big bonus – has a matching hard top, so you can drive in any weather.
